Engineering
Game Engineering (GE) major is a cross-disciplinary computer science program that integrate game design theory and methodology. Game Engineering teaches you to become a multitalented software developer. Students will examine the practice of game design from a variety of angles, including system design, level design, technical design, as well as core programming languages, data structures, artificial intelligence, user interface design, and more. Every semester, our students will work on hand-on team projects, apply their communication and problem-solving ability, to create games or interactive applications. Graduates can pursue their careers in positions requiring skills in laying the groundwork and design specifications for other developers to build large sections of a game, game designing or implementing and/or fine-tuning game design concepts, as well as implementing the mechanical features and systems of a video game.
